Received call from 847-416-6704 and after just having knee replacement surgery, it took me more than 4 rings to get to the phone. Seeing this number on my caller ID, I called it back, and a very rude man asked me who I was. I said he should tell me who HE was since he had just called my home. He denied calling me by telling me that it must have been a different number. NO. I told him that I hit the return call key on my phone. With his errogant attitude he said he never called me and hung up. Does anyone know how we can truly stop these BS calls. I am already on the do not call list, and his name with number came up as ILLINOIS CALL. What happened to the owner of the number's name appearing??? Perhaps I need to enter into an anger management class, because this is getting way out of hand. Worse are the automated calls that tell you to "wait for a very important message." I'm curious to know how others handle these types of calls. Sorry... I'll get off my soap box now. =(
