they called the company line and said they were updating info and wanted to verify it with me, already had our address and nature of business but wanted the name and email address of the person who purchases equipment. sales bs!
called my CELL PHONE to "confirm" name and address. (which is a PO Box)
Person said they were calling "on behalf of JE TOMES" which is some concrete/masonry place in Blue Island IL.
They said I was listed as a "current or future client". Which I am not and never will be.
Caller was apparently hired by this company for marketing purposes, the place they asked about is a CAR CLUB with no physical location- so what would I use Concrete Products for?
Unlike most Telemarketers, the guy calling was actually nice, did not hang up on me and was quick to provide me with the name and info of the place that requested he contact me. When I called JE TOMES to ask about this I was told that all the marketing people were gone already (New Years eve day).
