Yes i got a call from him also. He was very persistant on getting donation. He called our business 3 minutes right after he had already called. I told him you called already and he was like "oh" and hung up.
A man named Scott Cooper called saying he was from the IL State Police and wanted a donation with advertising. We told him to fax info over. Info looks real but it is not. We looked him up and called the IL Police and he is non existant. Hes phone number popped up on Craigslist posting for Hawaii. His posting was only a few days before he called us. Hes real name is Rick and he is most likely located in Hawaii. Businesses do not fall for this charity scam!!!
