7:55 a.m. A little early for solicitation. He sort of asked for the CFO, had the wrong last name. I know I've told this clown several times in the past that we're not interested nor do we accept phone solicitation. What a pest!
Called office and asked for owner by name. Caller ID showed up as FMNA. He was told the owner wasn't in and the gentleman said I'll just shoot him an email. He doesn't have our email!
Just got a call from this number but they hung up as soon as I answered. They'll probably call back tomorrow. If I get to talk to a human, I'll use the magic words "Put me on your do-not-call list." They hate it when I say that. They sometimes get all butt-hurt & say things like, "but you don't know what this call is about". I just repeat myself & they go away.
Had the best time with Dan from 847-483-2001, I answered the phone and of course he asked to speak to the owner. My reply you are with what company? He would not say. Only that we had a mutual customer; so I asked and whom might that be?
Boy did he get irate "why would you ask that?" he asked; I said, "Why not my boss is going to ask me who the mutual customer is anyways.", conversation continues with him saying I can't believe you are asking all these questions....when will they learn after 32 years in customer service you pretty much can become a master at who is on the other end of the line....
Made my day....
