Received this phishing call on my home answering machine. This is a well-know scam for getting money or personal information from people that can be used for identity theft. Do not give these people any money or personal information! Contact the IRS or your local tax authorities directly and they will confirm that this is a fraudulent group and that the legal issues that this company says you have do not exist.
Automated call allegedly from legal affairs department at U.S. Treasury advising that claims had been filed against my name. I was directed to call 847-483-8798 prior to claims being filed at federal court house.
yes ..i received a call too...and they have been dealing with mis calculated tax amount that still shows under a persons name....i was glad to have this taken care of by them rather facing legal charges...i have got the documents within a day from the revenue officer as well...
