It's a fishing scam or fraud. First they call saying they are returning a call from your number. They state it is some Hearing company. Reported they were either in error because no call made from my number or they were just scamming.
This number, one of several numbers and call centers, is the corporate offices of the AccuQuest Hearing Centers, which provides hearing aids. Apparently, they've got a promotion campaign going for a new development in hearing aids. It's not a blanket promotion; they first send out personal letters (hardcopy). Then if you respond and show interest, that is funneled through these call-center response teams to make appts, where one can see, have hearing tests, and try the devices at their open-house demonstrations.
They're OK. It's not a collection agency. And it's not a telemarketer.

Telemarketing calls, I absolutely have no need for any hearing aids and none of my families have such need either, I have tmobile and I think they are selling out our numbers to those marketers. The first two notes says this isn't marketing are those same telemarketers.
