I was called by someone from this number who identified themself as a rep of the Clean Environment Air Duct cleaning company. She stated that we'd talked last fall about scheduling them to come clean my air ducts and that they wanted to now schedule my appointment. I do NOT have air ducts and am on the national do-not-call list. I told her I found this lying an objectionable and dishonest business practice. The cold caller agreed!

I received a similar phone call today and supposedly they called around Thanksgiving but I was too busy to talk. I informed the person that I rent and don't deal with service people. When asked, they claimed to be in Gurnee. They gave me a niumber and extension. I couldn't find anything about them on the Internet either.
When I called back I got a voice mail but didn't leave a message.
It seems to be a scam and I'm going to report them to the Do Not Call Registry. I don't know what the scam might be but it must be profitable otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.
