I have been missing daily calls from this number for weeks and I have NO outstanding debts. Today I finally answered and there was no one there. My phone number is on the Federal Do Not Call registry. Has anyone gone to the police yet ? I just called them and demanded they take me off their call list or I would go to the Feds. The man that answered the phone did not give any information other than his first name - no company name, etc. He did insist, however, that they were not making sales or solicitation calls so they were not violating the Federal Do Not Call rules. He said that he would immediately take me off their list, however. I think I'll go ahead and report them to the Do Not Call website anyway. They smell totally illegal. If enough people report them the Feds might do something about it.
This number calls my phone approximately 3-5 times per day. I called the number back and a man by the name of Tony answered "This is Tony" "How may I help you". I know when I pick up the phone at my job, I answer the name of my company and then my name. Not falling for that one. If you can't tell me what company you are calling from and then identify yourself I have no reason to speak to you. I am tired of the phone calls constantly on my cell phone. Give it up Tony or whoever you are. Not speaking with you until you learn some professional phone etiquette.
This number started up about one month ago and continues 3-5 times per day. They do not leave a message. When you call the number back, a person answers asking how can I help you but does not identify who they do not identify the company they are working for.
I want them to stop calling me immediately. I am on the Do Not Call List and I want this to stop. It is a disruption to my day at work and I do not appreciate it at all. If you can't leave a message, identify where you are calling from and your name then don't call me. Too many people out there dialing numbers to try and harrass people and nothing is being done about it.
