They are legit. If you ever have anything done at Baptist hospital, they follow up with a service that can assist if you have any problems paying your medical expenses. Even if you have no problem paying they call as a service to you.
They tell me they are with Sacred Heart. Don't think they are legit as I just talked to billing and an accounts manager and neither of them knew anything about it.
I keep getting a call from Medifast and they tell me they are with Sacred Heart but they tell other people they are with Baptist. I would like to stop their calls.
First Source Solutions DBA as MedAssist in Pensacola Fl (possibly other areas). They are a Third party vendor for the hospitals and clinics associated with the hospitals (Sacred Heart, Baptist, West Florida) to determine if you qualify for Medicaid or other Financial assistance beyond what the hospital/Medical Group provides. They will call you even if you have insurance from a private source that has already paid on the claim.
They have called twice and just put me on an automated loop until they hang up. When I call back, I get the same loop before they hang up. I called Med Assist and they have no record of the 850-290-5321 number. Not sure why they are calling as I haven't been to the hospital. Very weird. I just blocked the number.
