This is the second time I've been contacted supposedly by someone at the Escambia County Detention Center. I've just hung up both times instead of accepting any call. The first time I contacted the Escambia County Sheriff's Office to let them know someone is pulling a scam.
That's not a scam, I truly received a collect call from an inmate from this number. It's a collect call however so if they call your cell they have to have money in their inmate account
Received another call from the Escambia County Detention Center. The call was from Rachel Davis. Didn't know her, so hung up. Then checked to see if a Rachel Davis was in the facility and found out that nobody by that name was there. Definite scam, no telling what the collect charges would be. Call comes on cell, not landline.
