Two missed calls/voicemails from this number today claiming to be from IRS. This is a scam. I have read/seen on the news that the IRS will never call you directly. They will send mail.
Caller left a message on my answering machine stating he was from the IRS and there was an issue with my last years tax return. He wanted me to call him back ASAP. He said his name was James Anderson. This is clearly a scam, as the IRS will not call you, they will contact you through the mail. Oh, he also spoke with a heavy Indian accent. That alone should tell you something. lol.
Same here keeps calling me throughout the day leaving messages he's from IRS and I did fraudulent activity. He needs to be in jail. Obviously his calls must be working on some people. The elderly are the main targets. Put him away. Identified himself as James Anderson but his accent tells a different story
Calls several time a day and leaves a message that I must call be about an "error" on last year's tax return. His name is James Anderson. The call is a recorded message as I have it on my answer machine many times and it is the exact message each time.
