Same MO. caller id said 911 then voicemail saying to call Sam Wilson at 850-725-8353. Got voicemail, then he called right back and said police called me and they were going to arrest me. I told him that he I was going to report his number to the Florida trade commission and hung up. Blocked his number. Unbelievable how they get away with trying to scam people and harassing people.
I like the sirens in the background. State police do not call and warn you about possible warrants for your arrest. The guy had a South Asian accent, and the phrases he used were more British than American. Scammers.
We got the same call....first it said emergency number and it showed 911. Immediately after, another call from an unknown number, recorded message from "state police officer" regarding a lawsuit, and call 850-725-8353 and speak to Sam Wilson. When you call, you get some message that Mr. Wilson is away from his desk, so please leave a message and blah blah blah. He then called us back, where we heard several other people in the background, and he tried to convince us he was calling from the general attorney's office in Florida. So, we had a friend call him back stating he was an attorney, and he needed to speak with Mr. Wilson regarding an important legal matter. Dude calls back, but with a NEW number!!! 202-670-1924. UGHHHHH....#scammingthescammers
Received a message, difficult to understand..from Sam Wilson, this number, stated to call back or will be arrested today.
Clearly a scam, see other messages
