They told me i was approved for 6700 dollars. I actually called the number they gave me and talked to Alvin Park( which is a state park in Texas btw).
I played along with him for a little bit and wouldn't ya know it, he asked me for my ssn, my user name and password to my banking account, and my account number.
I also got a call said to call Alvin Park at the 850-745-2027. I looked the number up and read the reviews. I continued my afternoon. Well within 20 mins the foreign lady, who called me and said I was approved for a grant, asked if I had called Alvin Park. I told her I knew she was a scam and that they were reported. She told me that she was serious that it was not a scam and that there were other scams that were running and reported within the last 40 days. And insisted I call this Alvin Park. I am not calling. But if she calls again I think I will just to hear the spill.
I received a call from a Matthew Ray telling me I was randomly selected to receive a $6700 government grant also. He was also Indian and he knew my name, address and of course my cell number. He told me to call the Senior Acct Manager named David Backer at 1-850-745-2027 to get further information and give him my grant approval #that was assigned to me and then I had to go to Walmart or Walgreen's to buy a gov. Registered gift card and register it under my name. I know better. I am not falling for this crap and am gonna block this call I got.
A lady called saying her name was Christina Williams and said I had to call a gentleman by the name of David Baker back at that number 850-745-2027 the number of the woman called me from was 202-202-1515 and said the same thing as all of you guys except I'm not calling them back They use the name that I use on those online survey things that people do so I'm assuming that's the only way they got my information so it's obviously linked to that somehow everybody steer clear of the scam
