Someone called me and said they were calling me from "Loan Company". When I asked what the call was regarding, she said it was about the loan I applied for online. I had been approved for $3,000. Would I like to receive the loan in the form of cash or a check? I told her I did not apply for a loan online, and she immediately hung up on me. This is another scam. Be careful.
These people have been calling our home phone every 1-2 hours since Nov 4. I finally answered it today and a foreingner on the other end asked for me by name and said he was John Young from the Money Loan Company. Told me I applied for a $3000 loan online. I told him i never applied for a loan online, asked how they got my number, and told him to take my name off the list. Of course the guy hangs up on me. I just filed a complaint with consumerfinance.gov. Maybe they will be able to out a stop to it. BIG SCAM!!!!.
They called and told me I qualified for a $3000 loan. I told them I didn't need it at this time but please give me their info for the future, but they had already hung up. Thinking it was an accidental hangup, I called back and explained, asked for their info, got another deliberate hangup. When I called back again that's when a young man with a non-native American accent started a string of vulgarities! "Go f yourself motherf..er". And another hang up. This just continued when I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor: "he's dead, so f yourself mother f,,er". A young woman gave me the name HOIEOH as the company name, then hung up. It's a scam "loan" company, and should be shut down. Much worse most likely had I needed the loan. I'm an elderly, disabled man. This is more vulgarity than I've heard since "curse fights" in college! Wish I could have reached through the phone! Cowardly, scamming, and pathological. Foreign or at least has a very noticeable accent! I hope all will report them!
