I am an independent beauty consultant. I received a text message a few days ago from this phone number and the person so that their name was Marie Phillips. So that they received my catalog and wanted me to send them my email address so that they could reply with an email and telling me products that they wanted to place an order for. When I looked up the phone number of where it was calling from it said that it was from Tallahassee Florida. I live in Ohio and I know for a fact my catalogs have never reached down in that location. I have no customers that is in the area. I replied back to that phone number and asked that supposedly person how they came into contact with one of my catalogs. I have not received a response back from them. I definitely think this person is a scammer or is fishing for other marketing purposes.
I also got a message to my personal email published anywhere with Mary Kay:
l need you to place a swift Order for me and also want to be your new Customer and also take you as my Future Rep. since my MK Rep. is no longer active. My Boss would mail you a Check for the total amount of the Mary Kay Order, the shipping fee and the tax. Since I don't operate CREDIT CARD and my only method of payment is by sending you a payable CHECK which will be made payable to your name after you give me your info. and the check would be mailed to your address. Mind you, the Check MUST arrive and cashed before placing my Order. Here the product i will want you to place for me :

I have received over 20 emails from a person name Dianna Edwards gave me her address which is in the Bronx NY and that she wanted to be a customer of mine for my stampin up sales. It went as far as them sending me a check for order except supposedly the manager sent me her entire paycheck. I refused to place in my bank so I took it today to bank it claim to be drawn from and they stated it was fraud and I reported in case they where trying to steal my identity and the bank reported it. So after all that the person text me today and I told them straight out here's the bank info contact them they have your check
