This thread seems to be old, but this number is still around - they called my cell phone today. I never answer when I do not recognize the number/if it's someone I do not know. They left a recording on my voice mail with a "case number" and the usual "call us back or litigation will be started against you", etc. The call back number they left is 888-512-5897 which when I googled it, didn't have much information. I'm not calling them, just blocking them and making sure I'm on the DNS list. Scammers!!!!!
I am on the do not call list. I do not recognize who the heck Avatar Tech is. After two rings and I do not pick up, the call is terminated. They will probably do it for a few more days and then stop. This has happened repeatedly these past few months. If you don't recognize the number, don't pick up!
Cell phone has been ringing off the hook. They leave no message. Answered the other day, no one responded so I told them not to call this number anymore or I would report them. They are still calling.
Have received messages from this phone number over a period of days. Says it is a Health Insurance Co. on my caller id. Doesn't match any of my insurance company's phone numbers. Who is it?
