Follow up... they called twice in the last 2 weeks. SPG I think she said the business name was. First time I told them I was on the do not call list, "Amber" said in a very rude tone, "Oh we don't have that list". I told her she should get a copy and to remove us from their call list. She called back today. Cut me off every time I went to speak, finally I had to scream in the phone that we are not interested. Next time I will tell her I will be reporting them since I have asked them 3 times now to stop calling.
They do not have the DNC list because as a business calling a business they are not required to use the list. Business numbers are specifically excluded from protection by the DNC list so any business knowingly calling another business does not have to check against the list. You can verify this by going to the DNC website and reading the Information for Consumers page.
SCAMMERS! They refuse to give the name of their company and insist on referring to themselves as our company's "Merchant Services". When I pressed for the company name, he kept replying that he's part of the "Small Business Association". Went around in circles like this with him for a full minute before I hung up on him
