Caller ID showed "Bellmawr, NJ". Caller had an accent, and said his name was Johnny, and he needed to speak to the office manager. He was calling representing a national research firm, and needed to ask questions about our telephone and internet provider. It was telemarketing to switch to his company.
I've gotten three calls from them. Shows up as "SSI" on the caller ID. They keep asking for the person in charge of our waste management/recycling programs. The company I work for has 8 locations across the U.S. No matter how many times I tell them that those decisions all come from our corporate office in California, they keep calling our office here in New Jersey. We have a business line on which to conduct our business. It wastes my time when I put customer calls on hold to answer the phone for these jokers to try to get me to switch to whatever they're plugging.
Save your breath, that list is nonexistent in to them and they will not respect your request. Maybe try blocking the number or simply ignore it entirely. If you're not taking unknown numbers at all, they have nothing to work with or do.
