Anyone who has done business with businesses before, and have used their business phone knows that the most important thing is always given the number 1 button. Like sales. A business would not make their do not call list top priority because no company wants that. Therefor, if a message tells you to press 1 to be put on their do not call list, do not actually press 1.
Also, what everyone should start doing is collecting these numbers. Write down every solicitation number you get, find out as much information as possible about each, keep tabs. Then find a way to share this information with others, find a way to collect all of the numbers everyone gets called by for scams and sales, so that we can all know these numbers and who is calling, and perhaps then introduce them to the goverment to show them just how bad the problem is. Or perhaps find some other solution.
Because Do not call lists by companies and by the government just don't work, they are not a solution at all.
8/19-15- this # called my unlisted land line at 2:30 pm EDT on 8/12/15. i didn't answer, just pushed end call. The caller ID said : CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don't take calls from unknown numbers, looks like a scam from other postings!
Like the rest here, received a call, didn't answer, no message. Total Cr**. Not calling back to verify my number so they can then sell it to other Jerks like them.
