They've called twice this week but seeing that it was from New Jersey and knowing that we are not doing business with anyone there, I didn't answer and they didn't leave any voicemail. After consulting this post and finding that it is likely a spammer (thanks everyone!), I've blocked the number…wish there were some better way to keep these snakes in their slimy holes.
The scam is not that they rob you blind they give you a free security system for signing a monitoring contract,. Just like getting a free cell phone for signing a 2 year contract with a carrier
Phone number called three days, all at same time each day; clearly automated. Interesting...when I called them, as I also don't do business with anyone in that state...I didn't reach anyone--just an automated message which stated, "To have your phone number added to a do not call lit, press 1." Caller nor company name ever given. Very odd.
Got a few calls that I suspect are from the same place but using different numbers. This time they asked for Jeremy, I told them it was a business line and there was no Jeremy here.
