Robot named Sam calling from homeless veterans organization.  I asked 'him' what the square root of 4 was -- he couldn't understand what I was talking about.  Scam scam scam scam.  Unfortunately 90% of all these organizations that claim to be 'helping'  veterans are scams -- there are very few good ones.  Got to give it to these scammers -- Sam had a pretty convincing southern accent.

got a 'doop' sound then nothing. Caller ID shows the same number as the phone number. I do not donate to these scammers..reporting to FCC and DNC

Now it's been changed to Disabled Vets but same phone number. Apparently, this is what they do.

I disagree. I had problems for about 2 years with a local FOP making calls from their "meeting hall" in Anne Arundel County, MD. Eventually after long conversation with an FOP/police officer, and a threat to go to the media, haven't heard back from them in a year or 2 (knock on wood).
