It might be Vector Marketing??  I fell into their scam once for $17.50...

I had this exact same thing happen to me! A woman called me and told me that a guy named Allen recommended me for a job. I don't know anyone named Allen either.

This happened to me as well! They woman knew my name and cell phone number, and told me that a man named allen recommended me for a job as a sales person for a pay  $17.50. So this is definatly a scam!
