Live scam call from female claiming to be with the "vehicle service department" (knew this was a scam instantly) for one of our cars. Noisy call center background. Pressed her on a company name and she answered something like "for all manufacturers nationwide". Tried again and she said she would "transfer you to a supervisor" which was an interesting twist, but alas, as I expected it just disconnected. This number is not associated with any company or person and is most likely spoofed.
This call instantly smelled of the classic auto warranty scam. These scum get your automobile information from public records, and when your car is 3 or more years from the date of purchase they will try to convince you to buy their useless extended warranty coverage. Or this is no actual warranty at all - they just want your credit card number so they can rip you off or sell it on the dark web.

They called again, but I like to waste their time when I can.
Live female voice with bad connection but obviously callcenter noise in the background claiming to be from National Dealer Services. "Did you know the warranty on your car has expired" etc. I asked her outright if she was calling from Honda at which point she lied and said yes.
So violates the DNC and then adds fraud on top. Nice. SCAM SCAM SCAM
TWICE in one day I told them to TAKE ME OFF THE LIST!!! Both times they hung up and I get a busy signal when I try to call back. I have told them for MONTHS that I haven't owned the car in question for over 2 years. When I spoke to someone on the first call today and told him that, he asked what I have now. To which I responded, NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! TAKE ME OFF THE LIST.
I am beyond pissed off now. STOP CALLING ME!!! (Your warranty is in no way cheaper than paying cost to my father at his shop, and guaranteed he is more honest.)
