I have been receiving phone calls about a Walmart gift card for the last three days and have told this guy to stop calling me but he keeps calling anyway.... he calls from two numbers. Today I was being sexual harassed by him on the phone and told him if he called back I was going to talk with the proper authorities. He still continues to call me.
Call the number back. You will get a message asking do want to be put on the no-call-power list. I just did this. If it doesnt work i reply to this message.
I haven't had the same problem in regards to ridiculous responses but did have a guy trying to push for my credit card number for a fee for Wamart. I've never won anything like a gift card from a place so i wasnt sure if it was legit or not because the caller was clearly an outsourced telemarketer. The address they had on record was from an old address about 3 years ago and i did remember putting in information to win a gift card during that time. Thats why I wasn't sure of the plausability of the claim but got nervous and hung up before i gave him my card number (i did end up giving my new address though).
