Got a call from these broken English speaking Indians using the "Microsoft/virus detection" B/S.
The quickest way I stop them from going any further through their scripted crap is to ask them a technically based question, such;
"What's the IP address of the PC/laptop sending "distress" calls?"
"My laptop is off, how is it sending a distress call?"
"Please tell me more about your SLA (Service Level Agreement) with Microsoft."
"My laptop is a Mac; how is a Windows service receiving this information?"
I tried to call them back on 2 different phone lines; the call rings and disconnects.
