This was a recorded call about how there are free grant money that you can get an do not have to pay back. It may be true, but this is probably just another scam where you have to pay money to get something you could find on the Internet. More likely, they will take your money and give you nothing.
Note: I don't have caller ID and use "*69" to get the caller's number so I can report them. While I heard a "dial tone" after I hung up, I got a strange message saying the call was private and the number was not available when I used *69. So I hung up and tried it again, and then I got the number. I think they don't hang up right away, then play a dial tone and see if you are trying to get their number. If you do, they play a fake message saying the number is not available. These are scammers FOR SURE!!!!!!
Telemarketers have been leaving us alone until now, and I am sure this is because I report all of them to the FTC at 1-888-382-1222. Get on the Do-Not-Call list and start reporting them and the number of calls will go down.
