Yeah, they call you and remote connect then change your password which has you locked out. Then they want you to buy a "Service Plan" to unlock your computer. If you refuse you can't get back in.
They called my house phone to day and did not leave a message. I normally don't call a number back but i did call this number back and it is a number not in service. One listing is for a title company on line but must not be their number any longer. As is a recording was the.number you called is not in service.
This is a scam. They have called me more than once male and female. They always call and say there is an issue with your computer, and you must get to your computer and get them the ID # so they can help you to fix some so called problem that you are not even aware of. Fact is, you give them the ID # they ask for, and you have just given them remote access to your computer, and anything on it. Be smart be safe.
