I posted an item last night. First thing this morning I have a text from this # stating, "Please send your full name and mailing address, money order will be sent to you and pick up will be after you receive payment" So, what would this scammer have done from here? Send partial payment, then while picking up refuse to pay rest? If it sounds too easy or too good to be true, it is! # shows to be from southern Jersey. Each time I looked it up, the location changed. Shows Verizon and provider and a landline.
Craigslist scammer. Offered to send me a money order if I give my full name and address. This is the second time I have been contacted by this # since the summer. I was made aware about scams with money orders by reading the CraigsList warnings and speaking to other sellers.
