I posted furniture on Craigslist and this person texted me this:
"I need your full name and address.Am paying by money order,will add $50 for keeping it for me."
Totally got the same text message from this number inquiring about a bed I was selling on Facebook. He asked for address, like a fool I gave it to him and now, somehow, my debit card has a fraudulent charge on it. How on earth can they connect my checking info from an address????? I hate myself of being so dumb.
Got the same text inquiring about a bed I was selling on Craigslist. Like an idiot, I gave my address thinking this guy was legit. Got home and was checking my bank account and had a fraudulent charge for $650 on my debit card. How did they connect my bank info from my address??? How? Why? I've reported number to police and I'm a tv journalist and plan to investigate myself.
Just got a text from this same person on CL. Same exact message. Didn't give out any info as it sounded fishy. Nice to get confirmation on here. Always good to google phone #'s!
