Husband got a text late at night for an ad he posted on Craigslist. Wanted to send a certified check. Sounds fishy to me. Total scam

I just received a text from this number regarding an ad I listed on Craigslist also... Seems like a scam, asking for name, address, phone number etc..

Got late night text for ad on craigslist from this number. Wanted personal info to send a bank check. What part of cash only do they not understand?
