I keep getting calls from this number, identifying themselves as US online pharmacy. They keep talking with an Indian accent even when I tell them to stop calling and I am on the Do Not Call List. They have called 3 times in the last month
Received a call (voice message) from 856-637-2751 at work. Was an Indian speaking woman, whose name she gave as Nancy Walker. She never gave the name of the company she was with. Used the same tactics as other scam collectors about either myself or my lawyer should contact her. If neither of us don't call her back immediately, she wishes me good luck as the situation unfolds on me. I will not call her.
I received a message from a Indian man who called himself John O'Brien and left basically the identical message. I called him back and spoke with him. He tried to tell me I owed $356.00 and if I did not pay immediately they would file a lawsuit against me for 3 criminal charges plus $5,000.00. This is absolute baloney. Even tried to make me think I just couldn't remember borrowing money. He would never identify who he worked for. After about 5 minutes of me questioning him he grew frustrated and hung up on me! Definitely a scam.
9/26/2011 I have received many calls from this number but have not been picking up. Today, however, since I was again called at work, I had to pick up. It was "Nancy Walker". She couldn't even pronounce my name correctly. I asked her what group she was with and she said Clifton Legal Group. I asked her what this was about and she said that I had a warrant on me from Quick Cash Advance because I owed them money. Ha! She wanted all of my lawyer's information and wanted to know if I had a lawyer. I would not give her any information and the more questions I asked the more nervous she became. Finally I told her not to call me anymore and especially not at work. I hung up. She called me back and left a voice mail telling me that the judgment would be delivered to the courthouse tomorrow and she wished me good luck. What a joke. These scams have got to stop.
I got the same deal to my work! mwhahah i work in a call center and the dumb [***] was trying to bypass my support team and get to me, good luck with that! no account no go. Then i called back out of curiosity, *67, and i tell ya i purposely pissed off at least 8 people on their call center for being jerk wads and bothering me at work. Scam 100% , especially if they do not identify their company THEY represent right away, also "You tell me what number called you and I tell you what company we represent" now that was a killer! HAHAHHAH! whew.
