They call all the time after told the person they were looking for hasn't had the # in at least 15 years. They do not seem to care keep calling. We let it go to the answering machine and they actually at first would hang up.. NOW they say hello and stay on the line for extended periods and then hang up. What's next threats via answering machine? Turned them into the attorney general waiting to hear what is next.
the call is picked up by the answering machine, during working hours and states the persons name they are calling/lookng for and if you are that person you are acknowledging that by remaining on the line. they then give you a number to return their call.
do not know the person they are calling for the auto voice is somewhat garbled/distorted. pretty neat trick getting around telemarketing, by stating they "gotcha" if you stay on the line. have no desire to contact that to even tell them.
i recieve this call for my landlord allllllll the time...we've told them plenty of times to stop calling but they won't quit..there has got to be some way to get these idiots to quit. if it's not my debt, they have no right.
Don't call them, it's a third party company that typically Citibank hires to do collections. But they are a company who just harasses whoever they talk too! I read numerous postings about this company and all the horror stories they had. I went searching for this number because yesterday I received a phone call from a rep. named Ed Norton, he left me a voicemail telling me he had a letter on his desk about I have no clue what that he needed to speak to my about before he made a decision. I have Citibank loans but they are all up to date, so I have no clue.
