which is both illegal (they can't claim to be from a company they aren't, and they certainly can't contact without the disclaimer message that it's a debt collection call) and annoying, because i have full medical coverage and the only possible way they could be trying to get money from me is if someone filed the paperwork wrong, which is definitely not my problem nor does it make the cost my responsibility.
Yet another number for Financial Recovery, a "debt collection" outfit from New Jerssey used by a local hospital to harrass the unwary via their billing scams. They fail to bill correctly, then when they are told to resubmit by the insurance company, instead they send it to this outfit to be collected. They also send stuff to Fin Rec that they have never sent you a bill for. In this current encounter, they are trying to collect on some bills that were paid last August, and the checks cleared two months ago. I used to try to deal with them, but really, ignoring them is more conserving of my time.

The call was from Kennedy University Hospital. Some deadbeat listed my cell phone number as their contact number. They asked me if I knew these two people - which I did not - and they apologized for calling me. They were very polite. She did not state why they wanted to contact them but it was probably about nonpayment.
this number keeps calling me saying that they are kennedy hospital and that i owe them money for my sons visit to the ER when he has full medical coverage and no co payments.
