Recieveing calls from this number for months. We have sent them notice via certified mail notice not to call and provide us with proof of the debt. We have not heard back from them. They no longer call our home phone, but they keep calling my cell phone. We have no unpaid debt/bills.
It is actually 8 am to 9 pm, if they call outside this time frame contact one of the law firms on this page! I have and they are great! Three cheers for Krohn & Moss!
They call me on my cell phone all the time for a Clinton Lewis. I have no idea who this person is but some how this collection agency has my credit card company name and my soc security number and when I asked how they got my info, they told me that I was sent to collections by my credit card company, which is a bold face lie. I have NEVER been sent to collections and when I called to confirm it with my cc company they confirmed it. I had blocked them on my cell phone and they call from a different number. I have asked for their Rep number and they tell me "they don't have rep numbers". They are very controlling of the conversation and when I swore at them, they told me that my call was being recorded. I told her that I was happy so that when I take them to court, they can see how they are harassing me for some one I do not even know. I am writing a certified letter to them and going to ask for the final time to stop calling my cell phone or I will take them to court.
They are BEYOND frustrating. I don't deserve the harassment that these people are giving me!
Then on top of all this, i am getting calls on my home phone from several collectors for my sister who has been turned over to collections. What, do they think I am going to pay her debt just because she listed me as reference? They are nuts! This collector calls me as late as midnight and the calls were everyday!! I think they sell off the debt to other collectors because when they call, it's always from a different company name.
