This number was only identified on my phone as 'Woodstown, NJ'. When I said hello, a man with a deep, gruff voice said, 'Is Brett there?' in a threatening manner. I said that he was not and I could take a message. There was a very long pause, and he hung up. He never identified why he was calling.

Called and ask for my wife. I asked "who's calling?" Said this call was meant for both of you and went into some pitch about donations. I hung up with and put them on my call blocker.
Rec'd call this morning. Gruff sounding man asked for my "X". Informed him he has been gone for 7 years. Gruffy stated he would update his records, apologized and hung up. I am sure he would have asked for a donation.
Again, gruff man calling about getting donations for our men and women over seas. Pulled up the number immediately and saw all these comments. Sounded to be a scam to me.
