I've now received several calls from this number, which looks very much like the name and phone # (at least the area code and prefix) of my mortgage provider. However, no message is left. Worrying that something might be amiss with my payment, I called the company from
a number on one of my statements and found that all is fine - and that there is no record of their office having called me at all.
It's possible I suppose that someone from the company wanted me to refinance, but in that case, there would have been a message left. Also, I checked my on-line account and looked through my list of messages - nothing.
So, don't trust this #. If you're concerned, call your mortgage provider and ask them if they called or if you have any questions.
As for me, I blocked 'em - 3 times the curse (can hardly call it a charm now, can I?)
