Makes it sound like you are talking to a real person.
You are not, your response just prompts another recorded response.
Charity that use this tactics are ripoffs.
Don't donate, we all will just get more calls like this one.
Answered and it was a robocall for veterans and said the call was being recorded for security purposes. I just hung up.
I have no problem giving to the Vets. I have a problem with robocalls and unknown caller ID's. Why can't they just be honest if they are an honest organization? Oh! Maybe they arent!!
Calls several times a week - caller ID just says Cambridge, MA. I never picked up on any of the calls. Caller just hangs up when answering machine picks up - then caller hangs up without leaving message. Very frustrating!
This Cambridge number calls me at least 4 - 5 times a day. Never leaves a message on the machine and when I answer it,
