Got a call from this number --thought it might be my cousin since he lives in the area and recently changed jobs. Called back and got this answering machine with a message in Arablic that mentioned Egypt. Since I don't speak Arablic, it didn't do me any good. I assume it is one of these scammy services that targets immigrants with prepaid calling cards since nobody has heard of Skype (snark). Proabbly a spoffed number anyway.
USA Expat living overseas and received a call from this number...I speak Spanish and this was definitely not in Spanish. If I had to guess I would say arabic and I would guess that because if you listen to the recording you hear "Qur'an" mentioned a few times. At the end it says "enter radio extension from 1-9" If you pick a random number it takes you to a longer pre-recorded message in Arabic.
I tried pushing zero, #, * and random numbers to see if I could get to anyone and ask what was up....No luck.
Seems harmless...I'm sure my number has made it on some international shitlist because if it isn't a scammer from Africa then it is a propaganda from the middle east.
