One trick these "companies" use, when asking to update information, is to ask yes/no questions, like:
Is your address still 1234 Some Street?
If you say yes, they record that, then splice it into a different question, like:
Do you authorize us sending you magazine-X for $100 a month?
Then you get the bill.....
