Thinking this might be a cell phone call from a friend in Newton (caller ID showed Newtonville), I tried several times to redial the phone number. Always got a very quick busy signal.

I've been getting numerous calls from this number....it's getting annoying at this point. They always seem to call when I'm at work, but I see 7 - 10 missed calls on caller id.

They were soliciting "on behalf" of the Newton, MA Police Dept. Memorial Association. Do know they are well compensated (better than us average folks) in case of death. Never an actual officer calling!!
