The guy that called said is sandra there? I said who is calling, he repeated is sandra there? I again asked who is calling and he stated that again. When I asked a third time he hung up. If you try to call them back it is busy
Called asking for me. When I didn't recognize the number or voice I told him I was taking messages for "me". He said no message and hung up. Weird and not a Massachusetts area code.
I answered the call. The man on the line had (or was putting on) a southern accent and said he was calling from a Veteran's association that collected donations to help the men and women returning home from serving. He said, "can we count on you to make a small donation?" I explained that I already donate to Wounded Warriors but will look at any information they would send out. He paused to read from a script and said "well the smallest donation is $15, and since I have you on the line can we count on you to help?" I replied that I make it a habit not to commit to anything until I read through the information which he can send to me. He thanked me for my time and hung up.
