Received an unsolicited text message from them regarding "daily updates." The exact text is:
"Are you need bulk whois databases? We offer daily updates of all the newly registered domains. If interested, email [email protected]"

As a note, nobody sold your information to these people. Domain records, like registered name, address, and telephone number, are made available publicly through WHOIS databases. If you'd like to see what information is there, a good tool that I personally use is domaintools.net. Some of the more advanced things require purchasing services, but for basic WHOIS lookup, I find it to be an incredible tool.
