This number called my business. They would not identify themselves and kept asking if the owner is in. I asked several times who was calling but they just hung up. Did not feel comfortable on the phone with this guy at all. Sounded very shady.

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The most effective thing to do is to get a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.
Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit Amazon or similar sales site.
If you cannot use or afford to buy such a tool, then:
• Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
• Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers! All that does is verify your phone number! And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

• If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scam" (or similar). Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.
• Another option, for both smart and "dumb" cell phones: Assign a "silent ringtone" as DEFAULT. Then, assign your favorite ringtones to all known friends / family / business numbers. That way, you will hear rings ONLY from those you wish to contact! You will not hear scammers' rings, even if they change their number! (This is also called "whitelisting").

This number just called my business. Trying to sell me all kinds of advertising, when I told them I only buy my products locally he started to yell at me stating he is trying to feed his family and continued to yell at me for about 3 minutes before I finally hung up. These people are very rude and I would not recommend anyone EVERY buy anything from people that act like this.
