This is a sales solicitation from Cox Communications, who is my internet and phone provider. Caller ID said only San Diego. They also called me twice a day on 844-299-1125, caller ID "unavailable", until I blocked it. The next day they started calling me on 858-201-3020. This time I called back, using *67, and talked to an American woman who had all my account info, so I know it is Cox. I demanded to be taken off their list, to which they agreed, but then said it would be 30 days before that could be put into effect. Can you believe that CRAP! 30 days for your phone company to honor a do not call request. I said if I kept getting calls I would switch to Verizon. Probably a hollow threat because I used to have Verizon and hate them worse. I actually like the service I am getting from Cox but can't tolerate sneak telemarketer ads.

I should have added that she had my account info because eventually I gave her my number when I was reasonably confident it was not just a normal scammer. She didn't ask for anything further but tried to upsell me on adding cable TV to my service.
called me stating they were from my internet service yet the called ID did not read from them, and they had no idea what service i had and wanted me to confirm, i laughed and they stated they Ask cause mistake can be made, what a bunch of fools. will farward their calls to my real internet provider.

A guy named Danny called from COX, who is our provider but his info about our service was incorrect. When I asked to be put on their no call list he wanted to know why. I when I told him because I didn't want COX to call me he wanted to know why. When I insisted on his last name he hung up on me.
