This is a scammer!!!
The first caller identifies himself as "Alan Smith" but has a thick middle eastern accent. If you talk with him, he tries to get the name of an attorney from you, claiming to have a case against you. When you say you have no idea about it, he feigns surprise, then transfers you to "Daniel Martinez, Senior Attorney". Mr. Martinez then goes into the story of how you supposedly took out a payday loan online and have not paid it back. Now you will be charged with solicitation of funds online, violation of federal regulations, bad check charges - pretty much anything he can dream up at the time. He also tries to get attorney information from you. When I told him that this was a classic scam, he got indignant and literally bet me $4500 that I would not find his
company online. The company goes by the name FAA. He said that if I could find the company online as a scam, he would transfer $4500 into my account and if I could not find it, he would debit my account for $4500. I told him I didn't make bets over the phone with scammers. They also used a legitimate attorneys bar association number as that of Mr. Martinez when I inquired as to where he was registered. I have contacted that attorney as well as the Secret Service, FBA, my local police, the FTC and my state attorney general.
When I told him not to call me again, he and his associates jammed my cell phone with over 27 calls in a period of 20 minutes.
