DONT give him anything. I received the same call today while I was at work. He pretty much was threatening me that I owed some payday loan advance $300 and that they were taking me to court. I aske for some proof and he pretty much told me that it is a violation of the law and that he can not give me any information. He said my two options were either to pay the money or open a lawsuit disputing the claims. I told him to forward the information to pay and let me review it. I received the email and googled the company name Cash Advance USA, and came up with these websites about it being a SCAM.
This David King guy called me back, and asked me if I received the papers, and that was when I asked him if it was a scam. He told me straight out "Yes, this is a scam". this is the only way he has to feed his famly, and all of that nonsense. I asked him how he had all of my information (last 4 of SS #, work #, bank acct info, etc), and he says that it is something that he purchased. PURCHASED MY INFORMATION! what kind of foolishness is that. Does anyone know where we can go to block our information from getting out there.
some man with a bad accent calling himself "Officer William Smith" called my office and told the receptionist that it is very important I call him back today because I had commited a very bad fraud against the largest credit company in America and I was going to be arrested later today if I did not call him. I tried to find out what his office hours were and he kept telling me that he was in California but it didn't matter because his office was open 24/7. Just to be sure and give me the message to call. These people are a scam company....be careful and DO NOT give them any personal information! I don't know how they got my work number and I'm sure I will be getting many more calls from these stupid people until I can scare them into leaving me alone!
same here mr david matthew fom the same office won't let u talk an keeps hanging up...he though he was going to scam my dad but then i got on the phone an he got nervous....he hung up on me 6 times n i kept calling back
I keep getting these same calls. I called the Federal Trade Commision and they said the best thing to do is hang up on them. This is a scam! So sad that they have all of my information. BUT one thing for sure they will not get any money from me. I work to hard for it!
Praying that this will soon come to an end. After a year of this.
JUST GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.THEY DONT WANT TO LET YOU TALK AND WHEN I ASKED FOR THEM TO SEND A STATMENT HE HUNG THE PHONE UP IN MY FACE...THEY JUST KEEP CALLING...HOW DO YOU MAKE THEM STOP..
