I received the same phone call from Morgan associates and Dominque saying I had a lawsuit against me for 5,000 dollars and I was been charged with criminal charges. They also said they were going to call my employeer. I got very scared and sent them $350 to settle my case. I'm thinking now it's a scam. What happened to the people that reeived the call and never send money? If anyone can resond, please. I'm afraid I will keep receiving calls from different companies.
Call shows up on cell as unknown. Same people I have been receiving the scam phone calls that have to do with payday loans. Foreigners want you or your retained lawyer to call back. Wish you good luck as to whatever unfolds. Same crap, different name and number. Now they are saying they are from lawfirm of Morgan & associates. Called my work and told them not to call here last time they called, didn't work
I just got a call yesterday also saying the same thing. I go very nervous and almost did it to avoid any charges I used a payday advance company a while ago but thought I had it taken care of. I have done some research and can find nothing on them. The address Dominic from the company gave me is 1365 Chula Vista Drive San Diego CA 91903. First of all there is no Chula vista drive in San Diego and the zip code is for Alpine CA that is not even in the same county. This is fishy. Be very careful with this. I am going to do some more investigations on this and will post more as I find out.
I have received 2 calls from someone named "Officer Daniel Richards" from a Morgan & Associates at my employment. My receptionist reported to me he even went so far as to tell her they were filing a criminal lawsuit against my social security number (is that legal?) and they wanted to speak to my supervisor, and also told the receptionist that since I gave whoever they represent (which they would not say) my employer's name as job reference they would hold them responsible for any debt I owe. Is that crap your what...first of all they gave her personal information regarding me, which I feel is illegal because of privacy laws. I believe this person has called me before with another name, cause his speel was the very same words as before, i saved the message from this person from a couple months ago and it is the very same person.
