I'm on the do not call list; I've got "no soliciting" stops on my land line, and this cretin puts the number in, gets through and then sends in the robo. I it the number sign about 8 times (heard this on a tech program a while back as a way of getting your number thrown out of the call bank) and then put the phone by the NPR radio for over an hour, without hanging up. Might not have worked, but I sincerely object to this sort of thing called "invasion of privacy," which is guaranteed by the US Constitution and by my payment to Century Link. I am going to report this to the DO NOT CALL LIST FOLKS AND to the phone company. I should not have to be taking time from my life for this paltry and disgusting business.
