Male caller asked for me by full name. I said she wasn't available, could I have her return the call? Said they were calling about a "charitable issue," would try again next week. ID showed 'name not found.'

called and left no message. ID showed California. this is not the first time I've received a call from this number. it's blocked now,

I don't answer although they call 1-3 times a day.
For all intents and purposes, there is no No-Call Registry so there's no point in being listed on it. It is not funded for any enforcement so it's not even worth filing complaints with them. To pass the law but not fund it is common and as politicians know that the things we want we don't want to pay for, ultimately we get what we deserve--like the kind of endless nuisance those using this number are.
