Cold calling for refinancing is still solicitation they can be sued if they don't stop after you have requested they stop calling.
Mortgage Spam callers. I got into junk spam hell by partially filling in a "free rate quote" website. Before I finished entering all my information (because I realized they were asking for more info than necessary just to get to the "free interest rate" quote on a refinance, cleared out my partially filled information and exited the page but the site had retained and already SHARED my contact information with an uncountable number of mortgage junk spammers. Despite talking to several of them and indicating not interested, requesting to be removed - they just pass me along to a different agent and start calling again a few days later. 4 or 5 months later I still get 4 or more mortgage spam calls per work day, and that is on top of the daily solar and credit card spam calls. No solution but to screen and ignore calls...
